Turning Point Predictions

ODB & ROXXI LAVEAUX vs. ANGELINA LOVE & VELEVET SKY

I think it was a good idea to put this match on the card. It's a reminder that there's more to the division than just the champion and number one contender. Besides that, I'll never (EEEEEVERR) oppose to seeing Angelina Love. I'm banking on ODB and Roxxi getting the 'W', though. Thus far, Roxxi is the third most successful Knockout in TNA behind Gail and Kong, and ODB has a gimmick that the West and Tenay have had fun with. They're probably going to want to keep them closer to the title.

ERIC YOUNG vs. COWBOY JAMES STORM w/ JACKIE MOORE

This should be good. I'm hoping they use common sense and have Eric Young be all business. Having Young respond to Storm's heinous attack with his usual fun-loving attitude tonight would make absolutely no sense. I fully expect this match to be intense and, overall, pretty solid. I'm calling Storm for the cheap win.

FEAST OR FIRED

I'm really excited about this match. It's a hodgepodge, but one that has major ramifications. I really hope either Kip or BG James gets the pink slip, and the other just follows his partner out the door. They're so unnecessary, and they're not even being used. I would mark out big time if Daniels gets the case with a World Title shot in it, but unfortunately, if he does get something, I think it'll be the X Title shot. The only person I've heard talk about the match is Steiner, and I'll slaughter a reindeer if he gets a World Title push. So TNA, save a reindeer...keep Steiner away from singles gold. As far as the Tag Titles, I'm really hoping for LAX to get that case. Being that there are no official participants - besides Steiner - I can't make official predictions on this match, but I have my speculations as you can see.

GAIL KIM (C) vs. AWESOME KONG - WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

This match is going to be epic. I'm hoping Kong wins it and they continue to feud. Gail should come up JUST short of beating Kong, so that she has a case for why she deserves a rematch. Then, in the second meeting, Gail is just about to win, and Kong gets intentionally disqualified. That would set up the whole "you know I can beat you, and that scares you" angle. Then, in the third meeting, Gail can have the big inspirational victory. IMO, having Kong lose would make the work they did building her up as a monster all for naught. I'm going with Awesome Kong for the win.

TEAM 3D & JOHNNY DEVINE vs. THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS & JAY LETHAL (TABLES MATCH)

I'm really looking forward to this one. I like the idea of mixing Devine and Lethal into the feud to keep it fresh, and I see Lethal picking up the win to reestablish his credibility. He's lost a lot at the hand of 3D. If it's one table to a finish, then Devine will definitely be taking that. If it's elimination style, then that'll make the match so much more interesting. Regardless, I say The Guns and Lethal get the win.

ABYSS & RHINO vs. BLACK REIGN & RELLIK - 10,000 TACKS MATCH

The tacks are what make this match interesting. Abyss will obviously take them - he always does. I think this is going to be the big bloodbath of the night, honestly. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see everyone, at least, blade, if not take tacks too. I'm calling Black Reign and Rellik for the win, with Mesias' help.

BOOKER T & KAZ vs. CHRISTIAN CAGE & ROBERT ROODE

Although this match was thrown together late, it has a good amount of build behind it. Cage was humiliated by Kaz, and then started feuding with Booker. Roode and Kaz feuded before Fight for the Right, and Cage planted a seed for Roode to have a gripe with Booker. Those two had a well booked night of feuding. The in-ring action should definitely deliver in this one. All four men are solid performers. I also like how it's veteran/rising star vs. veteran/rising star. It'll be interesting to see who gets the pin. I fully expect Booker and Kaz to win.

THE OUTSIDERS & SAMOA JOE vs. THE ANGLE ALLIANCE

This match is very interesting. The thing people really want to see is how well Nash and, even more so, Hall can hold up in the ring. Everyone else will deliver. I expect The Outsiders and Joe to go over, maybe even with a bit of help from Cage. It wouldn't be something outright face, though. It would be cool if Cage popped up on the screen and demanded that AJ come to the back, threatening him with ending their friendship and partnership forever, or something like that. I don't know. I call Outsiders and Joe.
